Whale watching on the West Coast of Canada
requires kayaks built for that specific environment. Coastal Spirits uses
only high quality expedition sea kayaks made by Canada's leading manufacturers:
Seaward Kayaks, Sun Kayaks, Necky Kayaks and Current Design.
We operate a fleet of double and single kayaks in different lengths, widths
and shapes, in order to accommodate all abilities and kayak skill levels,
(we happily accept guests who have not kayaked before) and the different
body types of our guests.
The length of our boats range from 17.5 ft, singles, to 21ft, double kayaks.
The width of a double kayak is approximately 30 inches which guarantees
best possible stability.
Paddles are manufactured by Aquabound. They are made of lightweight fiberglass to minimize the paddling effort so that you can concentrate of watching for killer whales.
| We use high quality spacious tents made by MEC in Vancouver. Resue and safety equipment is manufactured by Serratus, Canada. |
